Coyotes News · ATHLETICS FOR THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 24 -29

This week marks a crucial point in the season for several of our sports.  This week could determine if many of our teams can finish the season strong and still be in the running for those coveted CIF playoff positions in their prospective sports.  Girls Volleyball and Girls Tennis are still in the hunt but need to finish the week strong in their matches.  Cross Country is heading to Griffith Park for the Bellarmine/Sacred Heart Bell-Jeff Invitational.  They have shown improvement in times in each of their races and are hoping to continue that trend.  Water Polo has three matches this week, two in league, and one non-league.  The non-league match is with Arroyo Valley and the league matches are with Moreno Valley and San Bernardino.

Our Frosh/Soph Football team travels a very short distance this week, up the street to Pacific High School on Thursday for their 3:15pm game.  Varsity football coming off a loss to Moreno Valley has a great opportunity to solidify their chances to finish in a playoff position with a victory at Pacific.

The Mountain Valley League has posed its challenges for our teams but our athletes have definitely had the opportunities for success with every game they’ve played.

Good Luck this week Coyotes!
