Congratulations to the following athletes for their performances during the month of September, 2018.  We are very proud of our Coyote Athletes!  Here is what their coaches had to say about each one:

Girls Volleyball – Kathy Quach

In the month of September Kathy led the team in kills and blocks helping to secure wins and keep us in close gridlocked games. She does a great job keeping pressure on the other team with her arm.  Coach Poku

Girls Tennis – Vanessa Reyes

Vanessa started playing tennis this year. She quickly became an integral part of the varsity tennis team. She is hard working, mature, and always has a good nature and a winning attitude. Coach Ugalde

Girls Cross Country – Julie Chipres

Julie is our standout as a freshman.  She just finished 4th overall in the freshman race at a tough Bell-Jeff Invitational this past weekend.  Along the way, Julie set the Freshman school record by running a time of 20:46 during the meet. Before that, she finished 7th overall at the Mountain Valley League Cluster Meet #1.  She has finished third at the Coyote Mini Meet, 11th at Rosemead Invitational, 7 at MVL #1 and 4th at Bell-Jeff.  She is currently carrying a 4.00 GPA. Boys Cross Country – Genaro Cerrato
His PR this year is just 15 seconds off of the school’s record.  He lead our boys varsity team to a second place finish at MVL #1.  He placed 2nd overall at the Coyote Mini Meet.  He’s currently carrying above 3.5 GPA. Coach Son
Boys Water Polo – Ryan Calderon
Ryan works hard in the water and has been our offensive spark with 19 goals in September.  Coach Brennan
Football – Kylen Smith
Kylen Works hard and plays offense, defense and special teams. Kylen is passionate about football and is working hard to hold himself and teammates accountable. Coach McMillon
