Good Evening Coyote Family,

The school district has informed us that we are cleared to restart conditioning for all sports.  It is our hope at some point soon we will get a decision to be able to compete in athletic contests.  This has been a long time coming and we are excited to welcome you back to athletics.  It is our goal, through our COVID protocols that are in place to keep you as safe as possible as we navigate through a restart of athletics. We miss you and can’t wait to see you out here.  This is for all grade levels at Indian Springs High School.

Drop off and pick up/Entry and exit for all athletes will be at the stadium.  You would need to enter the campus by way of the west parking lot closest to stadium.  Do not drop off or enter at the front of the school.  You will go through our Covid-19 protocols with a temperature check prior to entering the facility. The conditioning schedule will be as follows:

Wednesday February 17 and Thursday February 18

  • Session 1  – Check in for cleared athletes will be at 2:45pm and condition from 3pm to 4:30 pm.

Boys and Girls Volleyball, Boys and Girls Tennis, Boys and Girls Soccer, Boys and Girls Basketball, Baseball and Softball, Boys and Girls Swimming

  • Session 2 – Check in cleared athletes will be at 4:45pm and conditioning from 5pm – 630

Football and Cheer

Monday thru Thursday beginning February 22nd

  • Session 1 – Check in for cleared athletes will be at 2:45pm and condition from 3pm to 5 pm.

Boys and Girls Volleyball, Boys and Girls Tennis, Boys and Girls Soccer, Boys and Girls Basketball, Baseball and Softball, Boys and Girls Swimming

  • Session 2 – Check in cleared athletes will be at 4:45pm and conditioning from 5pm – 7pm

Boys and Girls Cross Country, Football and Cheer

After Check in teams will meet at the following area.  After entering the stadium, walk to your designated areas following the direction of signs and staff:

  • Tennis – Tennis Courts
  • Boys and Girls Volleyball – two North central basketball courts
  • Boys Basketball – two North west basketball courts
  • Girls Basketball – two South west basketball courts
  • Cross Country – Numbers at South east basketball court
  • Swimming – Pool deck, enter on back side of the locker room
  • Baseball – Baseball field – use pathway behind bleachers to enter your area closest to basketball courts from stadium.
  • Softball -Softball field – use the pathway behind bleachers to enter your area
  • Boys Soccer /Girls Soccer – stadium field / outer soccer field – alternating (first two days, stadium field for all)
  • Football – Stadium field
  • Cheer – North ‘D’ Zone  just past the football goal posts in the north end zone closer to track

IMPORTANT CLEARANCE INFORMATION:

This is a reminder to all student athletes that if it is your intent to participate in athletics it is required that you have an athletic physical from a physician and complete your athletic clearance process on www.athleticclearance.com.  Once you are completed uploading all necessary documents, send an email to our athletic trainer, Mr. Zachary Norton to let him know that everything is complete as well as if you have any questions in regards to navigating the clearance process at Zachary.NortonMartinez@sbcusd.k12.ca.us.  His direct work line is 909-838-8042.   He will double check all information and documents and confirm your clearance.  If you are not cleared, he will work with you to get things in order.  This is also to remind you that this is good for practices only and that the most recent official grading period will be used to determine eligibility for competition.
